My mom is Traci Connell, CEO of Traci Connell Interiors an award-winning design firm out of Dallas, TX. For YEARS, Traci Connell Interiors was a one-woman show. Designer, accountant, sales person, customer service – and I always wondered why? Her design eye is unparalleled, why is she burning the midnight oil creating invoices?

I founded Prowess Project with the goal to connect businesses like TCI with an untapped workforce. We are a community of educated, experienced women who are returning to work after a pause.  These are seasoned COOs, business managers, and project managers.  We, vet, certify and match them up with interior designers who could benefit from their expertise. 

We all know that if you want to get a job done – give it to a mom. 

Our Mission

At Prowess Project, we saw two problems in the workforce. First, entrepreneurs losing up to 15% on their bottom line, because the need operational and empathy expertise to execute on plans – but aren’t sure where to find it. Second, 43% of educated and qualified women pausing their careers, many to become caretakers and then struggle to return to the workforce.
